::cooper is crying as i enter the room::
me: noah, do you know what is wrong with cooper?
noah: no, mommy.
me: noah, did you hurt cooper?
noah: no, mommy.
me: noah, do you know why cooper is crying?
noah: he misses thomas (the train for those of you non-parents-of-two-year-old-boys).
me: oh, really?
noah: yes, i took it from him.
::this is when i remember that cooper has been playing with several trains when i left the room. i now notice that noah is the sole possessor of the trains.::
