Film-ish

So, I have to admit--I love the instant gratification of digital photography...but I miss the tactile quality that film gives. Film has a life of its own--its dependent not only on the light, but on the quality and speed of the film.

I'm glad I shot all of my Italy pictures on film--I have about a zillion rolls of beautiful images. I would have missed that beautiful "film-ish" quality had I shot digital then...especially when digital was a relatively new medium.

Here is a digital image that I think has almost a film feel. Very imperfect, but very beautiful. I feel like thats my life. :)
