Paci's No More

So, many of you may know...Noah had an undying love for his pacifiers. He wasn't addicted to them, he didn't always need to have one...he just truly LOVED them. He always had, since day one. Well, one day about 10 days ago...Mike and I decided that it was time for the paci's to go. So, one night we told him that the pacis were all gone, and that was that. He did GREAT with the transition...the first night without them we put him to bed and then for about 20 minutes we could here him saying to himself, "Paci's all gone? Mommy? Paci's all gone?"...but that was it. He didn't cry, he didn't whine, he didn't try to make it miserable for us in an attempt to regain his beloved paci's.

So, anyway, our 2 year old is officially paci free now. Not for naps, not for carrides, not for bedtime. Based on his infinite love for those small pieces of plastic, my goal was by the time he was 2 only having the paci's at bedtime, and then by 3 not having them at all...but we made it much earlier than that. Way to go, Noah!

oh , that makes me want to cry. I don't know why, I guess it's cause he's growing up and he's so sweet!
