Little Kickers

Okay, so I've decided that the world needs more snapshots of Noah. So, in an effort to post more often, and because I realize the time constraints that will certainly accompany having 2 boys under 2, I have decided to take more snapshots and to post them here unedited. No judging allowed. :) These were taken with my little point and shoot with no other hopes than to capture some memories so we don't look back in 20 years and wonder why our kids always looked so darn perfect. :) We need more snapshots and fewer portraits in this family.

Noah had his first class of Little Kickers this weekend. It is a nation-wide soccer program that starts kids young--at 18 months old! Mike took Noah at 8:30am on Saturday morning, and I GLORIOUSLY got to sleep in! :) But, this is a shot after he got back...notice that he is still in his "athletic gear". :)

In other news, Noah has started sleeping in his big boy bed. We moved a twin size bed into his room a couple weeks ago, because we have high hopes of the boys sharing a room. We figured that we would keep Noah in his crib until Cooper was about 4 months old and at that time we'd transition Noah to the twin bed and move Cooper into the crib from the pack 'n play. Our reasoning was this, Noah LOVES his crib...and when Cooper isn't consistently sleeping through the night we wouldn't have them in the same room anyway. So, we'd keep Noah in the crib and Cooper in the guest room in a pack 'n play. BUT, Noah pretty immediately started wanting to sleep in his "funny bed" (<--thats his name for it?!). He even has his quiet times in the bed and spends about an hour reading and doesn't leave the bed until we get him. I think he knows he can get out of the bed, but doesn't think he's allowed. We have yet to hear the pitter-patter of little feet in the middle of the night, and its be hassle free so far. :) He's in a MUCH better mood when he wakes up, and its precious having him come to wake us up with a "ello mummy, ello daddy!" in the morning.
